Founded in 1956 in Vigliano Biellese, Filatura Astro is a family-owned company specializing in recycled yarns. Every year, it recovers over 2,000 tons of materials destined for disposal, transforming them into fibers and then into colored yarns — without the use of water or dyes. The colors emerge from the blending of pre-dyed fibers, making each shade unique and unrepeatable. For nearly 70 years, the company has combined Italian quality, sustainability, innovation, and family tradition, establishing itself as true “color artists” in the circular textile landscape.

The Lenzing Group produces eco-responsible specialty fibers made from cellulose and recycled materials, such as TENCEL™ and LENZING™ ECOVERO™, ideal for fashion, home textiles, and hygiene products. A leader in innovation, it collaborates with global manufacturers to develop sustainable and circular solutions. Its botanically sourced fibers are biodegradable and compostable (TÜV certified). Lenzing promotes resource efficiency and aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, with the goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
